I am still on a high from this past weekend!  My mom and bestest friend Amy put on the most amazing shower for Mark and I.  It is times like these that I realize just how blessed we really are...  A few of my best friends from colllege came out and surprised me - it was truly surreal!  And...my-oh-my have we come a long way from being Theta's together at the University of Colorado - but no matter how much we grow up - some things never change.  :)

We had a delicious display of food, we laughed so hard I almost went into labor, we opened presents and decorated onsies.  We also had a little contest to see who could guess how big around I was - in inches.  Any guesses?

Thank you mom and Amy for the most amazing day!  And thank you to everyone who came that made it so special and so much fun!  WE LOVE YOU and are so thankful that you're in our lives..!  

And all I can say is - this baby is one spoiled baby...already...

It was such a pleasure photographing Alexis and Patrick.  They are so easy to be around...  Their sweetness towards each other just makes my heart melt.  I can tell that they are truly best friends, and they adore each other and I couldn't help but think of how lucky they were to find each other.  I love the way Alexis winkles her cute little nose when she looks at him and I love how he looks at her and she doesn't even know it.  It's so easy to photograph love.  Have I told you recently how much I love my job?  

They are getting married at the end of April and it will be my first wedding back after the baby and I couldn't have hand-picked a sweeter, more fun couple to start off my 2010 season!   They will say "I Do" at a stunnig location in Summerland overlooking the Pacific ocean.  It is unbelievably breathtaking.  I'm also so excited for the team of vendors they've put together.  It's going to be AMAZING!

This was a completely magical session!  I decided to take this adorable couple to a spectacular Santa Barbara spot over looking the ocean.  As I sit here writing this, I'm wondering why I don't go here more often.  Lindsey and Scott are a perfectly relaxed, mellow couple that is undeniably full of life and laughter.  I am in love their love - it's incredibly sweet, genuine and just looks like so much fun!  I could have photographed them all day.  

I am so looking forward to their wedding this coming August.  It's going to be a fabulous party!
