I don't know what it is with guys these days but there are more than a few out there that dread having their picture taken.  Look at these and tell me WHY - please!?!?   Not ony is he good lookin' but photogenic also comes to mind.  Caleb managed to find the most beautiful photogenic partner in Kristin.  After an usually long warm up these two really got in the groove and gave me more than a few dream shots.  I am so excited to be shooting their wedding at the Four Seasons in September with Magnolia Event Design.  It is guaranteed to be fabulous and I can't wait.

There is nothing sweeter than high school sweethearts tying the knot!  These two love-birds were such a dream to photograph - I said "Jump!" and they said "How high?"  I nodded and smiled towards the cold ocean water and as they laid down in it, I swear I heard them say, "We thought you'd never ask!"  Haha!  These two were up for anything - and that's exactly how their love was...fun, youthful and alive...but oh-so sweet all at the same time!  I can't wait for their wedding next year (with Joy de Vivre) - it's going to be one fabulous party!

I had so much fun photographing these two - such sweet people!  The engagement session was the first time that we all met and I instantly loved them.  It's funny because Phil actually reminds me so much of my older brother (in his mannerisms and demeanor) and Katie looks just like Jennifer Garner - am I right?!?!?  What a beauty!  I loved getting to know them and it made me even more excited for their wedding this coming October.  Their love is so alive and refreshing - I can tell it's the kind that will last forever.  And there is nothing else on earth that I would rather photograph...

O.K., so Piper is going on 4 1/2 months, so I thought I better post her 3 month photos or I'm not going to do it until she's in high school!  Wow, I can't believe how fast time is flying by...this is ridiculous.  Everyone always says, "It goes so fast...!"  But, you don't really realize it until it happens to you...oh, wow!  

Dear Time, Please slow down.  Thank you.

I'm working on a special project and so some of these were taken with just a mid-grade DSLR with a standard zoom lens - I'm wondering if you can tell which ones?  I can definitely see the difference but curious if you can!?!?!?  

It was the perfect summer afternoon and I was so excited to hit a few of my favorite places in SB.  The Mission and Rocky Nook Park - NEVER disappoint.  Ever.  

Bernadette and Joe were a blast to photograph - Joe does a great Chandler impersonation - he had us all laughing!  And I am so glad they were laughing because they both have such amazing smiles, and teeth - wow, gorgeous.  I love the endearing looks that they exchanged, I loved how he made her laugh and I loved how she quietly, patiently loved him.  It was so sweet. And did you see her shoes?  Love.  Wish I could wear heels like that and not kill myself.  

I can't wait for their wedding at the St. Regis Laguna Beach later this year.  WOO HOO!
